well, i am 13 years old, like other people on here. I have really small breasts and have not started my period. I have started itching around and on them, but not the nipple, though. I woke up one morning and noticed small, red dots, not really bumps, on one spot. I started scratching them, and the red dots appeared. I am scared although it has not been here for long, only like 2 days, but it has never happened before. I am worried it could be something serious. Plzz help

I recently have also had the areola/nipple itch problem, although sporadically and not very severe. It has only stated since i began using Victorias secret bras. All of them have at least some padding and I too suspect its something theyre using or in the factory environment.

I too have recently purchased victorias secret bras and replaced all of my old bras with them and shortly after have been having nipple/areola itching. I suspect a chemical in the fabric or padding. I wonder where we can send our reports to.

Ladies, I am 11 but I am incredibaly intellegent. Though I may know the answer to most of these questions?
Why do my breasts itch? Your breast itch because they are growing, your pregnet, or in some cases your worrying about it way to much and it is just getting to you, Yes it could also be your bra, or the soap you are using to wash your breast, WHen you go to sleep, take off your bra. Or you can always get a diffrent kind of body wash. It could also be because you are not washing your boobs properly. TRy washing underneath, in yor cleavage, nipples, ECT. There are a variety of possibilitys. Stop worrying and try some of these tips.
If they do not help, try going to your OBGYN.
I hope this helps! :)

im 14 years old and i have had itchy nipples for about 3 months now. Im a 32C in bra size. Im a little worried because its sticking to my bra and when i go to take my bra off, it rips my skin and it really stings. Ive tried going to sleep without a bra on but then it sticks to my top. Its mainly my right breast thats the worse. The left breast sticks a little and has dead skin around it and feels a little itchy but it isnt half as bad. My mum got some special cream from the doctors (Fucidin cream) and i was only aloud to put a little bit on twice a day. That seemed to work but then as soon as i stopped putting it on, it would itch again. I can only put this cream on for a week because of the acid it contains. Im not sure what to do but its really bugging me :/

I have been using a bra called Mili Bra for the past 1 year. It is really good, it has a cotton lining on the inside that is really soft. Previously I would look forward to the moment in the evening when I could get out of the bra and feel the relief. Now I can wear this bra all the time and I do not feel discomfort at all. I used to try and find cotton bras, but so many of them say they are cotton and then you find that the cotton is only on the outside of the cup and it is not on the inner side. I hated that synthetic material rubbing against my skin.

Glad to see I'm not alone in this! My breasts have been driving me nuts for the past few months and it happens right after I take my bra off..! It started on one breast in the aereola area, but after itching, it has spread to both and almost all over my breasts. After watching me in agony, my loving fiancee found this thread in hopes I would find some answers here! From what I've gathered thus far, I seem to have sweaty/athletes breast? Since it was in one area [and I am a curvy gal, so I can sweat ^^;] and spread to another. It only itches when I'm not wearing my bra. Used the same bra brands for ever, and same detergent too. I'm in my 20's, I'm a 38DD, and from what some have posted athletes breast seems to be the most likely. I am going to take one user's advice and buy Lamisil and use that on them then buy new bras afterward (just in case the bras are infected....) But yeah, normal lotions and stuff do diddly squat and it's gotten so bad that even after I start to bleed from scratching, I continue to scratch ><. Hopefully this will be useful to someone having the same problem? I'll try and find this thread again and let y'all know if the Lamisil works..? Good luck ladies..!

Hello, I've always have had itchy breasts but the itch has become increasing worse. Now instead of it just being around the nipples, the itch has covered the entire area and then some. Not only that but in the beginning the itch would come and go; but now it's constant. I'm even starting to have trouble sleeping because of it. I will mention that I have large breasts (a size 44DDD) and they do seem to be getting bigger (*sob*). I will also mention that I'm 17 years old. I try to not wear a bra whenever I can as they only make things worse. I don't think its the body wash I'm using because I use facial wash on my chest ( I also suffer from chest acne) and if I was allergic to that then my face would also be itching. Using aloe lotion does work but only for a short amount of time. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you.

Go buy nipple/breast feeding pads/liners from chemist (Boots sell in boxes of 40 quite cheaply in UK) and use Vaseline. The 'pads' are quite thin so even if you have large breasts, won't add to your size + stops vaseline/other creams leaking onto your clothes. They even have a small adhesive area to ensure they stay put in your bra. I've tried different 'sensitive' washing liquids, new bras and numerous creams but the pads/liners are the only thing that stops the itching. Hope this helps

Thank you ladies for sharing your scary itchey stories. I'm itchey too. It's a weird itch that is for sure. I did just have a mammogram and it was normal. The itching for me started after wearing a new sports bra. I'm thinking that is the problem since I did just have breast exams from both a mammogram and then from my gyno. I will now check to see what that bra is made of. It sounds like the material causes some sort of irritation. The itch is very annoying that is for sure, and it definitely doesn't seem to have anything to do with dry skin. Moisturizer is not helping at all. So, it does appear to be an allergic reaction to the material.
