I am a 23 year old female and I do have a small history of eczema. I used to have it pretty bad about 10 years ago on the insides of my arms only. Since then I would have the RARE breakout, usually around my mouth or on my back. Not even once a year.

For the last three days I have had a horrible cold, and my hands are VERY ITCHY. Im not sure that either have anything to do with each other, but I thought I should put it out there.

I havent taken anything for the cold, ate anything different or been around anything I would be allergic to. I have been waking up in the middle of the night with the itchy hands, as well has having them itch all day and when I stop itching they burn like crazy. It is continuous all day long. I have tried applying hydrocordizone and my elidel but nothing helps. I have a few welts but I feel like it's from itching all day.

This is all over both hands, and just my hands. I plan on making an appointment for the doctor, but I was just checking if anyone has had this happen to them or even find some relief!

Thank you for the advice and ideas!

I think I have the same thing and I'm experiencing it right now. The palms om my hands itch like crazy. When I itch them, by rubbing them together, they itch even more. When I stop there is this burning sensation. The skin also feel very stiff. I have had this conditin for some time now. So long I can't remember. After awhile I get small white bumps all over. After a while they pop or break or whatever and the its over. I have my own business and have a very busy/ stressfull period in the spring. This condition always occurs during this period and interisterringly enough, towards the of this busy period. I I've always considered this some sort of reaction to the stress because it always goes away.
