Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and hoping someone can help me out.

My hands and feet are nearly always coldl. I've been experiencing spells of dizziness, nausea, and hot flashes. In the past 2 months this has happened 3-4 times, all during the morning to midday. They will last anywhere from 15 minutes to nearly an hour. I'll get very nauseous , hot and start sweating. The last case of this was roughly 2 weeks ago. After researching my symptoms I realized they can be the symptoms of dehydration, however I drink quite a bit of water every day and my pee is very often clear. I couldn't figure it out and tried to put it out of my mind.

Three nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night with stomach pains. I went back to sleep and woke up shortly after with bad diarrhea and vomiting. It lasted an hour or so and I eventually went back to sleep. My stomach hurt a little in the morning, but nothing like it did during the night. By noon I was back to normal. This morning it was very hard for me to get out of bed and I've been very fatigued all day. I got my normal amount of sleep last night. This morning I had a spell of dry heaving and had to go to the restroom. I didn't vomit but dry-heaved for a few minutes.

I'm getting worried about all of these abnormalities. I wonder what could be causing them and if they are related.

I have also been getting very hot at night. I'm usually tucked deep into the covers even when it's 75+ degrees, for the past month or so tho I've often been kicking covers off because I'm so hot even when it's 72 degrees or lower. I've been told I'm much hotter to the touch during the night that I used to be 3+ months ago.

I am 23 years old, sexually active and on the pill. I'm on no other medications. I was a casual smoker for 5-6 years, I have been smoke free for nearly 6 months. My periods have been normal for the most part. My last one was 2 weeks and a bit light, I attributed that to weight loss. I don't know any other information that may be relevant.

Please reply if you have any help.
Thanks so much.
I've been having the same exact feelings, except for the coldness. I was thinking it was early (peri)menopause, but since you're 23 I guess not!! Any updates welcome!

Have you taken a pregnancy test?? I see that you are on the pill and sexually active, but there is still a chance that this could be the cause. Most of your symptoms fit, including the light period you had previously. Hope this helps!

It sounds suspicious for nervous system dysautonomia. I had many of the same symptoms, esp stomach pain, sweating, chills, body really hot. Find a neurologist that specializes as this is rare. Look under dysautonomia.org for info and des. Sometimes it is triggered by a virus. Good luck.

Look up cyclic vomiting syndrome. This has been happening to me on and off for years and I finally found a doc who asked about. The more I read the more it sounds like it

I'm not sure if a male or female made this post, but I'm a 20 year old male experiencing almost identical symptoms, this morning I woke up shivering, soon followed by a hot flash. I started to feel nauseous so I ran to the restroom and proceeded to vomit for an hour and a half.

I hope you have received some answers since you first posted. I have experienced these symptoms over the last 18 years and was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). When I have bad flare-ups, that's when I get the intense stomach cramps, the feeling like my body is on fire, major sweats, nausea, etc. I have found that eating smaller meals, taking a probiotic, and proper food combining has helped. Food combining takes some work. I find that when I don't mix my starches with my proteins I have great relief. Interestingly one of the responders stated dysautonomia may be the cause. My daughter was diagnosed with this over 2 years ago. I had to diagnose her myself as it is not known enough by doctor's and it took so long to find the right doctor to diagnose her. It was a cardiologist who finally made the diagnosis. Hopefully you will find your answers soon.
