I have cervical dysplasia caused by HPV types 53 and 42. My doctor says that I need laser treatment to control bleeding during intercourse. I have several questions:

- Is this procedure painful?

- Will I be awake during, or do they put me to sleep?

- Does insurance usually cover this procedure?

Please help! Very scared!
