I've always been regular until the last 6 mos or so. I'm 44. Now it's longer periods and clotting. Then it was just 2 weeks apart for 2 cycles and now it's been over 35 days since my period. I went to doctors last month because I was bloated and miserable and hurting all the time. Did an ultrasound and found a large benign looking cyst on right ovary. The next week the gyn said there was no cyst and instead I had a golf ball sized fibroid in my uterus, but still could not see my left ovary. Then my pap came back and primary doctor said I have a vaginal yeast infection. Meanwhile the gyn also said I probably had a bladder infection, but kidney doctor said no bladder infection. I don't have usual signs of yeast infection, no discharge at all. And no painful urination or anything like that for bladder. Initial bloodwork is not clear, but shows high C125. What should I do next? (Sister had breast cancer at 39 and hysterectomy for pre-cancerous cervical stuff at 44). I am a very busy newspaper editor and am always stressed--no more or less lately.
