My son is 16 in 2 months time and his voice still hasn't broken. He has some pubic hair but testicles still seem small. Although sometimes he expresses concern i try to pacify him by explaining his uncle was a late developer and so was I. Do you think it is worth seeing the doctor? He was measured at school recently and is just within the normal range. He also has a good diet and plenty of rest although he is not keen on exercise. I am worried as i obviously want to help him if i can but don't want to cause him stress by showing i'm worried about his development.
Hmmm. If he has pubic hair he obviously has started puberty. But I don't see any downside to mentioning it to his regular doctor and having him/her take a look to get their opinion. I'm sure it's a source of anxiety for your son, so hearing the doctor's opinion might be really good for him!
