I'm on my 6th week now from my hemorroidectomy surgery. I kinda regret the operation. You mentioned that it's almoat a year now when you had your hemorroid surgery but there's still a bleeding each time you're having a bm. I know that this question might sound stupid but I just gotta hve to ask you. Are you already able to eat red meat sometimes or have a beer once in awhile?
Eating oats with yoghurt each morning for breakfast and plenty of salad and fruit.
Leakage is like a bad skid mark. i think it is improving but doctor told me at least 8-12 weeks so i will see after three months.
This was not told to me before surgery. Pre op, mine was painless but bleeding. I could always push it back. If i was told of leakage, i may not have done the operation.
In most medical articles, hardly mention on the leakage risk. Those had mentioned also very brief.
Only this forum talked more on leakage.
Now if i have bowel movement in the morning, leak feces for few hours. Not much but is still a mess. I just wear diaper and wipe every 30 mins. At night if no bowel movement, no leakage if feces only yellow water.
If any doctor or publisher reading this, please, please inform the risk of leakage to your patients or readers.
Will update on my progress.
I had this surgery about 10 years ago. Mine never got better. When I have to go, I have to go now, and I still wear pads to try to keep me clean. It’s like the muscles were damaged and never bounced back. If I had know this, I would have kept the ‘roids.
