So I have a LEEP coming get up in exactly a month because of abnormal cells caused by HPV. I had a colposcopy done a few weeks ago, and that hurt a decent amount for me. I'm honestly terrified. I've read through experiences that other women had to get an idea of how it went for them. A lot were good experiences that other women have had going through the procedure, but I also read quite a few horrific ones about them feeling sever burning to the point they screamed, cried, or even fainted. Those stories were the ones that terrified me. At the place I am going, they're gonna numb me up with the shot they give to the cervix, instead of putting me to sleep. I dunno if they will put me to sleep just because they said the LEEP would take 15 minutes to do. Either way, I'd really like for anyone to give me their honest blunt opinion about their LEEP experience. I don't want any sugar coating. I wanna know what Im in for. But I also don't want any "IT'S GONNA BLOODY HURT RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!" Lol. Please and thank you! :)
