After I had two abnormal pap smear results and a colposcopy to see if these abnormal cells are cancerous (I tested positive for HPV two years ago) my ob-gyn recommended it would be best if I had those cells removed with the LEEP procedure. Since they’re cut off some pieces of your cervix during the procedure, I know there has to be some immediate side effects like bleeding or discharge. But what I’m worried more is how does LEEP procedure affect your fertility and chances for conceiving and having normal pregnancy? My doctor is telling me there shouldn’t be any problems, but if anyone has gone through this and tried to get pregnant, did you experience any problems due to LEEP procedure?
Look up and watch some youtube videos of the assault. It can cause stenosis where you cannot menstruate or conceive because the cervix closes up and nothing can go in or out. I would not have any part of your body cut/burned/sliced. They still perform male genital mutilation as well as intersex surgeries which are unnecessary and cosmetic in nature and quite damaging. There are plenty of ways to treat without mutilation, nerve damage, and complications that are bound to occur as with most any cutting/burning of your body. Do you eat a healthy diet? Do you boost your immune system naturally? What kind of exercise regimen do you have, daily exercise? Check out beautiful cervix project googling and watch youtubes of any procedure you can before going in for anything. Many will tell any lie to sell patients surgeries, drugs or vaccines. You have to do your research and decide for yourself. Blessings!
