has anyone found the answer to Ilco's question? I'm going through the same thing. It is beyond frustrating.

I have had my gall bladder removed 2 month ago. I had pain ON MY LEFT side for 2 years. NEVER on my right side. That is why it took so long for them to realize it was my gall bladder.

I have a twinge of pain on my left side now and again since my GB was removed. Mostly after I eat greasy foods or sugar.

You'd scare anyone with that incorrect information. And it's GALL bladder not GULL! I've had my gall bladder out now 9 years and am now recently having the same pain everyone else is saying on the left side. If it's your gall bladder (on right side) then you could have what they call referred pain which is the only real way to have pain on your left side from anything on the right. The majority of your organs are on the right side as well so if pain is there, docs will always research it well with lots of tests and such. With my gall bladder pain, I had pain that spanned my whole back shoulder areas particularly in the shoulder blades It's not hard to detect gall bladder pain b/c it will start with maybe some pain and bloating on your tummy, then shooting pain from your shoulder blade down to your arm. In bad cases you can't eat or drink or sleep. You feel bloated and uncomfortable, or you could have no real symptoms unless you eat something spicey or fatty and then feel bloated. There are lots of tests that can be done. A HIDA scan is one of the fool proof ones they use to determine gall bladder problems, so are ultrasounds as they can show gall stones in the gall bladder. Most of the time you can live with them until they start acting up. My friend had huge gall stones but it took 3 years before she needed surgery. She started feeling bloated after eating small meals, and then when it got to the point of her throwing up, she went to the hospital and had to get it removed. Your colon and kidney reside on the left side. I have extreme bloating, stomach pain so bad it hurts to move around or put on and wear jeans or the like. I've been using a heating pad lately to help with the pain. I thought it was shingles but my doctor thinks it could be my kidney. This has been goign on for me for 6 weeks. I've had an ultrasound so far and nothing showed up. But since then the bloating and stabbling pain have gotten worse. My doctor is convinced it's my kidney. Don't trust anyone online who isn't a medical doctor. Go to your doctor to find out for sure what you're feeling and what it might be. Hope that clears some stuff up.

I am 22yr. old female. I have severe pain in my lower stomach, I have had an ultra sound on my stomach, as well as on my pelvic. I have had blood work done and all results have come back as 'normal'.... My stomach will bloat up so large that I cry out in pain, the bloat is so large I look six months pregnant(I am 125lbs.) I have no idea what to do at this point... Has anyone had these issues?

I've been going through this for a few yrs, I go to des end up in hospitals and have done the scans.  They say I have an over active gull bladder and want remove it bcuz it doesn't happen often enough.  I get severe pain from the ribs to my back the only thing that helps is laying in a fetal position and taking some antacids medication. I have now tried a home remedies, 8oz cup of Apple juice with a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar or regular vinegar.  I must say it works about 30 minutes after taking it but dint want to continue doing this.  How can I get them to remove my gull bladder?

No sh*t. Also, having had gallbladder issues and later had to have it removed shortly after giving birth to my son because it was nearly septic. Guess what, Sherlock. The pains I had were on my left side, my Doctor (ACTUAL f*****g DOCTOR, BRUH) said that it's quite possible for this to occur because pain can radiate. So **** and gtfo.
