Surgury saved my life or at least extended it.  But it took 15 plus yrs to get diagnosed and the damage was done.  All my symptoms went away over night. But I think my arteries are all plugged with calcium deposits.  I get shortness of breath, chest pain, light headed. I do not have insurance so hoping someone else that has insurance has had the same symptoms and was diagnosed, and can share their findings.  I am 56 and have to carry, fish oil, turmeric, for circulation each day. On bad days I take a liquid edta several times and then I can go back to work.  I work outside,  fairly active, walk a lot on my job up hill some, the edta saves me as it is a blood thinner, and it dissolves plaque and it works, but a week later my symptoms come back I literally am afraid to leave the house without the EDTA liquid chelation. Anyone else have these issues after years of hyperparathyroid.  Most people dont live 20 yrs with hyper p.

Hello, Guest.  What country are you from?  In the US, EDTA is only available by prescription and additionally, it is used primarily if someone is suffering from hypercalemia or high calcium levels in the blood.  I am worried that you are taking too much EDTA as you say you take it several times a day.  It may be the thing that is causing you to suffer from shortness of breath, chest pain, and light-headedness.  Has your doctor prescribed EDTA for you or are you getting it somewhere else?  Perhaps you should stay off of it and see how you feel.  The drug is not meant for continually ongoing use.

Does anyone know anything about EDTA and overdosing on it?
