It has been a really rough year for me. My husband just left me and my daughters are both away at college. I am having a bad case of the empty nest syndrome and I really do feel lonely. I would like to get a little dachshund to ease the loneliness. Do any of you happen to know about their life expectancy? I am hoping my future dachshund can be with me for a long time.
