I have the same problem. I am a 47 year old woman. I use to go and do whatever I wanted until 4 1/2 years ago when this lightheaded odd feeling started to happen all the time unless I lay down. It is so aggravating. Well my dr hasn't figured it out either.  He finally convinced me to try Lexapro 5mg. So I started that 4 weeks ago. It did go away for a few weeks but this week came back and it is pretty scary. Even though I haven't passed out I too am afraid I will so my husband does all the shopping. I gave up my career in medical billing and gave up my sports car. I want and WILL have somehow my life back. I have noticed that no one on here has mentioned going to the eye dr. So that is my next step. I had to get those over the counter reading glasses so I can read the novels I love so much. The letters were getting blurry. So I think my eyes may have something to do with this.  Not sure but its just a thought. I have never worn glasses but haven't been to eye dr like I should really only once in my early 20's. So it is time to be checked.  I wonder if that has anything to do with it.  I am scared to take my puppy outside if I am alone cause it is so hot and if I did pass out it would be dangerous out there. With heat, Bees and Ants. I also have two beautiful granddaughters ages 3 and 4 that I keep for my daughter to work and that is so hard on really bad days.  Let me know if anyone else finds an answer. I am under face book and welcome new friends  deanna cooke franklin  is what i am under there so look me up. Have a great day!

Hi. I too have the same feeling, although it seems to come in waves. Lately it's been much worse even though i've been drinking glass of water after glass of water. I wonder if it is allergies, but it doesn't have the affects of my usual reactions, (sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose), infact my nose is extremely dry. I have had anxiety issues my whole life and the more i think of it, the more it seems to apply. The only thing that seems to help is of course water, along with exercise and meditation. The more i meditate, the more i can control my anxiety therefore reducing how much water my brain needs. Still.. not sure of the exact reason for it

Hi guys. I'm feeling better now. It turned out that I had a UTI. I had to take some pills for like 2 days and I started to feel okay again. I hope you guys are doing well and I hope all of you end up feeling better.

Recently at work I've been feeling lightheaded, dizzy, sleepy and and like my heart is skipping a beat. I thought it might be due to the heat or that I was dehydrated so I've been drinking more and made sure I've got a seat next to the window. I've previously been diagnosed with anxiety so it could be linked with that but I don't feel as though I'm worrying about anything or have anything to worry about. I'm going to see my doctor on Friday so hopefully I'll get some answers then!

:| I have been feeling the same way...gettting light-headed and dizzy.  It's fairly new to me and happening for the past few months at least once a day sometimes more.  I am very confused on what to do about this.  As I have read everyones post..I do not see much sense in going to the doctor.  I used to have more exercise in everyday life but it seems their is always so much to do..I have fell completely away from getting any exercise.  I am hoping to make more time for walking and things of the sort and maybe that helps..as I just seen the post about it.  I agree with all of you it is very scary not to be able to do the normal every day things of life and having to sit down.  I am a very strong willed person and choose to ignore a lot of things that may be wrong but with these spells it is a lot harder to ignore.  It was very good for me to see that I am not the only one with these symptoms and to read all of your posts.  thanks Rach

Everyone has crystals in their ear. Its what keeps ur balance in check. If u get sick one can come loose n go around a tunnle in ur ear. Its an easy fix. The doc takes a scan of ur head n lays u in a bunch of positions to move it back.

Ok, I have suffered from these symptoms for the past 7 years. Doctors told me it was anxiety. At first it was bad! Trips to the ER, couldnt breath, walking outside in the snow naked cause it felt like my body was on fire. After antidpressants the real bad stuff went away and I have been stuck with the occasional hard to swallow, light headed, head in a cloud, migraine everyday stuff. Now I learned caffeine is a bad thing for me now , very bad. I can even sip on real coffee anymore or the "weird feeling" starts. Im going for professional help for compulsive gambling and counselor told me any compulsive behavior could be a link to your anxiety depression. Im just curious if anyone else with these symptoms has some sort of ompulsive behavior to relate?

Hmm, everyone's symptoms sound very familiar. My dizziness is a fairly recent occurrence for me ( I.e. the last year or so). But, today it feels very prevalent, and unsubsiding. (frustrating!). It is a pretty warm day, fairly humid (unusual for this area), I ate a complete meal for lunch, thinking that would help. When the dizziness returned, I ate something sweet. However, I'm feeling light headed even more now, a couple of hours later. I have noticed the last several days that my body feels "tense" and susceptible to pinched nerves. However, I've been curious about that, because I feel like all is under control and being handled, but it seems as if my "subconscious" mind doesn't agree. Hence, my body is acting in quite a surprising way to me. I haven't heard anyone mention their "age" as a possible factor, or perhaps demographics. I am late forties, and within the year started menopause. Is this consistent with anyone else??

I've had similar symptoms of dizziness for the past week now (I understand it's not as bad as the folks who has had it for months or years), but I've learned to be positive about it.  I believe I started feeling dizzy after staring at the computer screen for too long... Now I've done this before and had slight headaches and I assumed that it would go away the next day (as it did before in the past) but the lightheadedness continued to persist.  I panicked at first which led to a bit of anxiety but I learned to soothe and relax myself and my anxiety went away; however, the lightheadedness was still there.  It is annoying and frustrating, but I realized that keeping myself occupied and not worrying about what might happen to me made it a lot better, even if I was still feeling dizzy.

I also went to the gym to workout.  The first day I was lifting, it felt really hazy but after I was finished I felt a lot better.  I worked out again the next day and my mind was clear, I'd say like 95% clear.  I was excited and decided to go on my computer again.  It was good at first but the more I concentrated and reading texts my mind became fuzzy again.  That's when I started to get anxiety again... I noticed that bright lights and straining of the eye caused me to feel dizzy again.  I suggest that if you use your computer for extended amounts of time, you should keep the brightness setting to the lowest... I felt a noticeable difference when I adjusted the settings (in terms of dizziness).

Now this morning, it was as bad as the first morning I woke up with the feeling of dizziness.  Felt anxious, had no appetite and I thought it was just going to get worse.  But I kept positive and decided that this "brain fog" is nothing to worry about.  I decided to keep myself occupied.  I played the piano, studied, and read books (trying to stay away from the computer...) I felt there is a bit of an improvement, although that dizziness feeling is still there.  I'm going to go workout again today to see if that helps and will update on my progress.

In all, I believe the best way to feel better is to STAY POSITIVE (really important), workout and be occupied.
