DEFINITELY A MUST READ!
I originally posted this comment, but would like to add to it. I started to feel better for a little while but I started to take swimming classes and made my dizzy spells completely worse. I couldn't pick my head up in class, the lights were too bright. I was sleeping 10-12 hrs a day, had to stop exercising because I thought I was going to fall over, hard to concentrate, heart was racing (doctor thought it was anxiety) . I had a full work up seen a cardiologist, neurologist, otolaryngologist; had an EKG, MRI, CAT-SCAN, XRAY, I'm sure there is plenty more tests that I'm forgetting. The only test that should some abnormalities was my inner ear, but the doctor said it was not significant enough to make a difference. HAHA well he was wrong. Also my primary physician gave me Prozac to help with anxiety. The Prozac helped a little, but not enough to make a difference. I showed the test results to someone that is a family doctor that studies acupuncture (functional medicine). She said that test showed I had a slight significance that is causing my dizzy spells and all the extra crazy stuff. She treated me for an inner ear problem, just a couple needles above my ear for an hr. A few treatments later I am able to pick my head up in class, not have to wear sunglasses in bright places. I'm currently back in my workout classes. It is so amazing how much acupuncture has helped. I was completely skeptical thinking how can a needle help. Well if you are as desperate as I was, willing to try anything to get rid of the dizzy spells, give it a shot. What do you have to lose?

One possibility is hyperventilation syndrome. It is when you shallow breathe and not getting enough oxygen into your system. A friend was recently diagnosed and she had it for about two years and couldn't even walk without a frame she was that dizzy. It was easily resolved with medication It was brought on by anxiety and stress. You can check your breath rate. It should be about 16 breaths per minute. Do it a couple of times or get it checked by your doctor. You will also need to do breathing exercises to learn to breathe properly again
My friend is now perfectly well thanks to a great doctor!
Hope this may help Good luck

look i have anxiety but i dont think that's why i am getting dizzy after i eat. this just started happening a week ago and ive had anxiety all my life. this feeling is consistent after every meal i'm not over weight i don't feel nervous im not dehydrated because all's i drink is water. i drank a half of cup of coffee with sugar today and it made me feel normal. i didn't get dizzy. it is when i eat that it happens. so obviously everyone who is complaining about this has anxiety..so i'm going to start my anxiety med's agiean and see what happens. i suggest if you arn't taking them to try it..if you are try an see if you can get a higher dose...test it out see if it helps..but then agiean ALLERGIES MAYBE!?!

Hi everyone, I have been experiencing the same things for a year now. It first started with these rushing feelings in my head....this was the Only way I could describe it. I went to a neurologist and he said I was fine. I then went to an ENT and he ordered an MRI which also came back good. I then started to have a numbing feeling in my fingers and toes which eventually went away. My vision started to get weird so I went to a optometrist and then a opthamologist who both said my eyes are fine. I am very frustrated because it feels like no one believes me. I have trouble driving and can't walk around in a shopping center for very long I feel like I am going to pass out and my feet also get achy. Now I having other pains in my stomach, it feels like it's never ending and I hope I get some answers soon. Thanks for listening.

I have had the exact same problem for like three weeks already. And I was scared because I have no idea what was wrong with me. I ate regularly, I drank water and I got enough sleep, so I dont know what the problem could be. I've gotten my blood checked and everything comes out normal. But it makes me feel slightly better knowing that I'm not the only one with this problem. I just hope that nothings wrong with us. My best wishes to all of you guys!

I know exactly what you're going through. it really sucks, i've tried different types of ways to deal with this but sometimes you have to look in your soul, and realize your a good person. everybodays their own special individual !! anxiety cnt be cured, but sometimes just put a little more confidence in yourself, say F the work, im gonna do me, breathe, maybe even exersise, my dr told me that i should run mu wrists under cold water when im having a panik attch, yaa ok b!TTT( H* that doesnt work. just always remember that your going to be okay, theres going to be inspirations in your life, people who can guide you back to what the world really is. it honostly just a bunchaaa stupid things, the gov dgaf about us, i mean its 2012, were alll gonna die right? lol jkk, but embrace the beauty all around you, find happiness, and dont let anxiety get the best of you dude ! YOU GOT DAAAH POWERRR. well goooddd luck, but always remember you're not alone ! :) peace and loveeeeeeee.

omg - i am the same - i think i have felt like this for about 3 years now, mine seems to be all the time though - again doctors said anxiety, but im not convinced, mind you when i sit and think about how i am feeling i certainly do start panicking about it which im sure makes it worse. i have found it difficult to drive and to go anywhere on my own as i feel like i am going to pass out all the time, i never have done yet.
its an awful feeling and i wish it would go away as its taking over my life!!!

This is due to low blood sugar..if your blood glucose level drops then you experience such problems..
you may feel dizzy, head weight, become tired easily when you stand or walk a while..
if u eat something, especially carbohydrate food you feel good...and after sometime the same feeling sticks you..
This is not a disease but a deficiency..for a short time..
