I think it's moition-sickness but last Christmas I couldn't walk up stairs without almost passing out. You should have your B12 levels tested.  Low B12 levels can cause these symptons

There are three or four common causes that most people experience at one time or another in their lives, sometimes chronically.
Many people are affected by hypoglycemia. Carrying around a granola bar or something with carbs or simple sugars in it can help alleviate these symptoms when they come on. I have this type of problem and have since high school.
If you suffer from anxiety or panic attacks, what is happening is that you are panicking or being anxious and as a means for your body to protect itself from what your brain is telling it is a threat, your internal organs are getting the better of your blood supply, leaving your brain without as much oxygen as it needs, hence the lightheadedness.
There is of course also dehydration which is many times accompanied with a headache or nausea as well.
Also, if you take any medications - ESPECIALLY for anxiety or mood disorders - these medications themselves can cause dizziness.
Go to the doctor. If he or she doesn't have the answer, try a naturopath. They are very knowledgeable, educated and great references for preventive remedies. I've even heard some folks issues being resolved by a chiropractor.

Hi I have been feeling the same. It is not nice at all. The doc says it may be a crystal that has growen in my ear tube which is were the body finds balance. I have been given Antinaus pills 5mg been taking 1 tablet a day and is helping, however I like the sound of lifting weights and going for walks so will try this also... Simon

hello i have had people coming in with the same problem and the main courses could be lack of water dehydrating the brain couseing it to shrink wich could be causeing the light headed and dizzyness or it could be really serious and it could be a brain tumor, if you think it is a brain tumor then go and get a brain scan before it becomes serious.

hope this was helpful.

Hey,
I've been dizzy for as long as I can remember. It never really bothered me until recently.  About ten years ago when I was pregnant my dizzy spells bothered me but I started to take prenatal pills.  That really helped and I forgot about it.  Two years ago I wasn't feeling well and felt really dizzy.  When I ate it would help maybe for an hour or two, then it would come back.  I was chatting with some colleagues and they said it sounded like a sinus problem.  I didn't have any symptoms of a sinus infection, just plain dizzy.  So i said what the heck and tried it.  The first dose helped a little, but couldn't tell if it was really going to help.  I decided to take another dose and it was drastic on how much it improved my dizziness.  A few months ago I was diagnosed with labyrinthitis and was given a motion sickness pill.  I waited it out and it went away, somewhat.  It does bother me here and there.  It feels like I'm not getting enough oxygen to my brain and if I try to breath deeply it can help or it can make it worse.  I exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet.  I've taken some more sinus infection pills and it helps. Also I decided to take a women's multivitamin with more greens in it.  I heard that it may help with oxygen flow.

I think there are numerous things it may be.  Everyone is different. My friend too was dizzy, but found out she was anemic. My sister had more severe symptoms; dizziness, vomiting, bleeding out everywhere, and loss of appetite.  The doctors thought she was nuts and there was nothing they could do for her.  After a long battle we found out that she was exposed to mold.  With cleaning the air  etc... in the house and the correct herbs and teas helped her to get back to normal.

I would check for numerous things
1) sinus
2) blood work (iron)
3) household environment
4) vitamins and herbs
5) or if non of the above apply maybe completely try something different. If this is the case I would do more research. Maybe see different types of doctors.  Sounds goofy but maybe a chiropractor, may help to get back in alignment. Also some chiropractors have herbal remedies and are more open-minded than a regular doctor. Herbalist they have a lot of different things to try.  Like red clover to help cleanse your blood etc. Cleansing of the body, like going to a vapor cave and/or detox.

If you feel that there is something wrong don't let someone tell you that it's in your head. Seek several if not millions of opinions until you feel satisfied.

I have a continual iron defieciency and am just getting over mono.  I'm trying to eat more iron rich foods and take it easy but that doesn't seem to be helping... if it persists i'm going to go talk to myu doctor about it.
