The same Thing has been happening to me for the last month I feel like I have water filling up in the back of my throat. I cough I try to spit I drink I eat I’ve even vomited nothing clears it out and it feels like it keeps filling it up and coughing alleviates it for like 5 to 10 seconds I’ve done it about four times since I’ve written this post ready
I think its very important that you supplied your name, Mr Mark Reynolds. That is by far the most important part of your symptoms you specified
Baba ji ka ghant... Gandu
thank you ..
for other reason I have had full blood tests and urine samples galore and heart rate, blood pressure .. all normal.
my abdomen ultra sound came back ok and the colonoscopy saw nothing alarming although awaiting biopsy results - so it seems I'm otherwise healthy - yet it feels like water collects at base of throat, joining nasal canal at back and joining lungs ... no amount of coughing, cacking, steaming, eating , drinking shifts it - THE ONLY THING THAT SEEMS to bring up whatever it is (white foam with tiny bits of mucas) is when I have been for a swim, then a wet sauna and they done some light weights - the steam and movement seem to force my lungs to squeeze it up and out - while not pleasant as your coughing it up - you get relief for a number of hours afterwards ....
I also read that a persistent cough, sputum can be the result of having worms or the start of diabetes ......
ill look into L-Glutamine, GERD, COPD, weak heart...(heard of this causing a cough in dogs) - so thanks for comprehensive input here :-)

Yup. I came on because I woke up during the middle of the night Just now feeling the same thing. The only feeling I can describe it as is like having liquid in my lungs or throat. I’m not wheezing or sounding funny. It just feels like my lungs aren’t expanding as much as they should be and I’m a little light headed. Then I’ll get the urge to cough and I do feel the mucus in my throat. When I inhale I also feel it. It’s very strange because I don’t consume dairy and I haven’t for 3 years. But someone said it could be carb related? Heart burn? im not sure. I’m a really active person and I also eat healthy/ in my early 20’s. First time it has ever happened to me. I’ve been trying to burp and cough but it’s still there. I just want to sleep!
Think c, o, p, d. Or broncicle asthma just need to no as its happening all the time awake or asleep but ill try
I get that feeling too. Drink a hot herbal tea it will get rid it. Ir take a herbal Supplement. There’s certain herbs that gets rid of music. Certain foods produce mucus like dairy. Limit dairy as much as possible.
