Hi all...
I have a lisfranc injury that was sustained about 6 weeks ago and surgery about a month ago. I am having bad burning and tingling pains all over the top of my foot and big toe, wondering if anyone has had the same issue? Also has any one found a pain killer to take these pains away?

Nigel120,
you have hundreds of nerves in the foot, I had the same pain and it also radiated up my leg. My DR said that it is normal for this type of surgery because the nerves are screaming due to the surgery. and it is part of the healing process. As far as pain meds, i took 2 oxycodone (percocet) every 3 hours and that pretty much controlled the pain. But, you're gonna hurt, this is very invasive surgery
