I have 6 pounds to lose, and after several half-hearted attempts to shed these pounds, I finally want to be serious and lose the weight, rather than just talking about it. What are the best methods to lose pounds fast? How did you do it? Do you happen to have any advice for me?

Whenever someone has got only a few pounds to lose, I normally recommend exercise over diets. After all, at that weight, you are probably already eating the right amounts, but you just need to get more active. Working out twice a week, or three times if you can make it, will probably solve your problem for you.
