My husband had kidney removal surgery a week ago and a stent was put in. HE went to the dr. yesterday to have it removed, and the stent couldn't be found by the doc. He had an xray, and the stent was found inside the kidney, and is scheduled for more surgery to have th stent removed. Is this a common occurance? the dr. said it had never happened to him before. What would be a reason this occurred?
