My doctor thinks I have IBS and when I have dairy (esp Mayo) it kicks off real bad. I had some butter icing on a piece of cake earlier and my tummy has gone like a balloon and my weird alien baby is moving just as u described....its so bad tonight I managed to film it!! I think it's just the gasses being produced even tho I don't actually have gas I think it's my body's way of disagreeing and the IBS reminding me not to eat certain things :( xxx

This is crazy, I feel the same way sometimes. I'm really really thinking its just really active bubbles going on and we are feeling them. I mean I've been trying to figure out why this is happening and I feel like its just from consuming a lot of milk. I usually get these feelings when I have something with cheese or a heavy smoothie, or just dairy in general. Humans can't really digest dairy well anyways so maybe we just really feel the crazy movements in our stomachs and bowels?

Well,

Reading all of these comments actually described what I've been having for a week or two. It's as if I had a baby move inside of me,  I notice it's only on the right lower abdomen.  Then I got to thinking it's gas or something else, no pain, no discomfort, normal bowel movement, just the wierderst thing.   I'm past menopause and really dont think it's that I'm pregnant...then again anything can happen.

I didnt want to see a Dr. but if it continues, I'll ask for a sonagram to be done so that once and for all without going back & forth we can get to the bottom of this.

Keep track of when it happens, when you get the bubbly feeling and where, is it the upper or lower quad and on which side.  How long does it last and then you can take all this info to the Dr.

Hope this helps.  Would be nice if we had a nurse or Dr. on this board who would know what's going on.

I have what feels like bubbles popping or things moving I am not really to concerned about it I think it's just trapped gas when you eat your swallowing air which gets trapped causing the bubbles or moving sensation on another site a lady said she had IBS irritable bowel syndrome which may have been the cause people also suggested drinking peppermint tea to help maybe if your concerned get tests done but if the tests come back with nothing I'd look into your diet as maybe some foods are causing the gas build up

Hi everyone! Most likely what you are experiencing are intestinal spasms. This is very common with any GI issue, IBS, leaky gut, chrohns etc. I think this can also happen after eating something your gut did not like or had a difficult time digesting. I have had this happen and it totally felt like a small baby moving in my lower stomach. Very wierd. Good Luck!
