I am female aged 83.  I have suffered central lower abdominal pain for 2 years.   I wake quite happy in the morning but as soon as I take anything by mouth, even water, I start having these pains.   Sometimes they are a constant pain, other times they are spasmodic and more severe and seem to be related to a lower back pain.   I have had two CT scans and an ultrasound scan without any result.   I am being monitored for low-grade lymphoma which does not seem to cause the haematologist too much concern.    Previous history:-  2 children 1953, 1956,  hysterectomy 1958,  ovectomy 1960,  gall bladder removal 1985.   Can anybody advise?
