Hey :) I had this and at the age of 19 I reallu paniced and after not being able to get an appointment at my doctors I went to a local walk in centre, and got told it was an abcess and got put on a course of antibiotics

Hi there I found a lump the other day in the same place but it hurts and I'm going to the doctor as we have cancer through the family I'm worried for what he might say dose yours go black at times mine does and it worrying me

Hey i just got one myself... i've had one once a long time ago when young, and it felt the same it felt unpoppable but then after a week or so it was more apparent it was a boil, it finally popped and omg the pain was insane and the amount of stuff that came out.... ewww. This time it's still unpoppable but i'm pretty sure they'd be boils if it moves with the skin

I have the same problem i have two of them in my inner thigh and had gone too the doctor too check it out and said it was an "ingrown hair" it hurts really bad they gave me pain killers that dont work that good but said that they are going too check up on it again in a week and if not surgically remove it because it is bacteria

I have the same thing! However I have lot of lipomas ,I just have surgery a week ago 2day...on my back 11 removed!! 5 years ago I had 9 removed. This pain n my leg is thigh/groin is know joke,2 cough any type of jerk its unbearable,I understand believe me!

I went to dermaatologist for abcess between thigh and groin after already having it lanced twice before. He said it sorta makes a balloon and best thing was to remove it because if not it will keep coming back...OK...I let him 2 weeks ago and he stiched it up...but now the stiches tore loose because this is a difficult place to avoid stretching...so i went back to see what they would do next...It was a different doctor that day,he said now that they wouldnt want to do anything for now...then he brings another doctor in to show her and says... see this...this is why we dont do these in this area...i am so sick to even look at it now...now they are trying to prevent infection while the slow process of healing begins so i am on antibotic which is causing other problems but that is another story...so anyway be careful with stitches in this area!

What comes from lifting heavy objects like this is a hernia. A hernia is not resolved by keeping it clean. See a doctor if you think you have a hernia and try not to exert yourself too much.
