i have a lump in my inner thigh close to my vagina area, its like right on the bone that connects my inner thigh. my knickers rub against it and it is sore to sit down at times i can go about my day and not feel anything but wen i think about it i feel it and wonder if i have cancer lol, its just a pea like lump, and wen i touch it too much its swelling into a dam walnut which is big! i hav my period atm and am ashamed to go see the doctor. I noticed that its shrunk as my period has progressed HELP PLEASE!!!

Hello. My dad recently got a cyst like inflamation around his groin. He noticed it less than a week ago. He tried to pop it thinking it was a cyst but no pus really just blood. He went to the doctor and was prescribed meds to see if it is just an infection. If it is not they will remove it and send it in to get tested for cancer. If anyone has any similiar stories let me know. I am very worried.

Just noticed the same thing after a shower. It's pea sized under the skin and sore. I'm thinking an inflamed lymph node. I will be getting a medical opinion soon since it appeared so suddenly.

Male I have the same thing going on with a lump that started a week ago (thought it was a hemerroid). Two days later it got worse and I started getting flu like symptoms in mid afternoon. Went to the doc on the fourth day and he said it was an infection/inflammation and gave me ciproflaxin for two weeks. Then if symptoms still present then a refill for two more weeks then ho back and see him. This pain has hindered me from working walking normal sleeping good I'm constipated there is some resistance urinating it even hurts to lay down in any position. This is a miserable feeling. The mass covers the area between my anus and testicles and even goes into my left butt cheek and into my left groin. I've tried advil aleeve and ice nothing eases the pain.

I have the lump on my left inner thigh but it only hurts when I walk or run to much. Its like a skin friction. Rubbing againt each other. Other than that, nothing.

I hace the same problem,mine doesnt hurt.i thought it was a boil or pimple but u can squeeze and nothing happens.i usually take a razor and cut it off.it bleeds like crazy for a bit.but it goes away for a few months.

I just got mine removed, odds are and i am no doctor and do advise you all get it looked at, but mine was an abecess, they dont normally hurt but get bigger and eventually can turn into a staff infection if not treated that is a very serious infection that goes into your blood and makes you very sick. My doctor had to cut mine out and stitch it up because i waited so long, id ont advise this for anyone else. go to your doctor or a local clinic and have them look at it. If its an abecess a round of antibiotics should take care of it if it is not infected. Normally happens because of an ingrown hair. So stop shaving if you still are. Thats my advice hope that it helps!!!
