I had this too. Went to the doctor and he said it happens usually in summer month from riding bikes or underwear or when shorts ride up. It causes that tissue to become fibrous and thick. Put warm compresswe on every chance you get and wear the boy shorts underwear until it goes away.

Best you go show it to a doc. I had it when I was 8, that was 18 years back. And I needed to rest it, like reduce walking and fermenting it twice/thrice a day. What I was told was if I did stress it I would need to cut it out and it would make things abit complicated. Advice is to show it to a doc. Cause lumps under the skin could mean other problems too.

This lump can be cancerous our not. It can also be cyst or a fatty lump either way with so many possibilities you must see a doctor. Also if you've had a std this could cause this lump as well

I'm 16, I've been looking this up because I think that I might have the same thing. It's probably 1cm sized and red and it's a lump. It's really irritating and can be painful and sore. I'm not going to lie, I feel like looking things up on the Internet can always scare you, and I guess it has. I don't know what to do, do I have anything to be worried about? It's pretty much exactly the same as you described
