My name is Rachel and I'm 14 years old and I'm really new to this web-site but it seems packed with good information and good people, so...around three days ago I noticed a small, around tic-tac sized lump underneath the skin left to my vaginal opening, it doesn't hurt unless I put pressure on it and feels similar to a bruise but there is no visible lump on the skin, it is totally underneath the skin. It doesn't really move around much, just kind of slides and you can't see it just looking at the skin. The lump is hard too. It doesn't look like a pimple or an in-grown hair as its beneath the skin and the skin above is unblemished. I can't feel it unless I touch it but I'm really worried! I keep thinking it could be cancer or a tumour that could kill me or something, I have read other threads but they don't really seem to have my symptoms so I thought I'd make my own, should I be worried? What could this be? What are the chances of a 14 year old getting vaginal cancer? I have had the HPV for cervical cancer but please just give me some peace of mind.
Thanks so much, Rachel :-D
i think you should talk to your parent or someone your close to that is older then you like if you have a older sister or something. i know its really embarrassing talking about this kind of stuff with people but i really think you should get it checked out my a doctor because it could be serious or it could just be nothing i know it is really embarrassing having to show your doctor but this could be really serious or could be nothing thats going to cause you problems but getting it checked out would be the smart thing just in case. also you need to stay calm and not stress out or worried about it because its really bad for you depression is really common in young teens these days its really important to talk to someone about it. Hope everything turns out okay if you choose to go to the doctor.
All the best Rachel :-D
let me know how you get on.
