What happens when you get a small red lump on your gums and it's very painful. BTW I am female.I'm 10 years old and I'm doing this for my dad because he does not know what to do. I told him to visit the dentist but he didnt say anything......I wanna try and help him because I'm scared i don't want something to happen to my dads gums because coulldn't it be cancer or so...... It's good that you are concerned for your dads health.
It doesn't have to be cancer. It could be an infection, a cold sore, or a canker sore.
Does he complain of any pain? Is he favoring, chewing, on one side? When was his last dental exam? Does he smoke? How are his teeth overall?
