Lump Under the Skin..

i have this lump around my jaw bone. Its in the middle of where my mouth and ear are. Its smaller than a dime, and it doesn't hurt/ache until I touch it, or move the area around it, but there isn't much pain. I haven't been brushing my teeth because I was to lazy, and now I feel like this is the serious comeback for it. (Like a couple months, my mom always thought I was brushing, im going to brush right now!) But it's not around any of my teeth, or so it seems. I have a sore on my cheek also, does that have to do anything? It doesnt show up at all on my face, and feels like that side of my face is a little less firm than the other side. It feels like outside the teeth area, and I cannot feel it anywhere around my mouth. Only by hand can I feel it. So is it bad? Im getting my physical 2 weeks later, is this a concern I should voice out to anyone? Or should I tell my dad and mom? (My dad is a doctor but isn't home right now) I feel no pain from anywhere else but the spot, and after touching it a little to much, it hurts a tiny bit. I moved my jaw and it doesnt hurt. Please, someone answer, I want to see if its big or not, and I don't want to worry my parents.
