I'm 34 years old and I started to masterbate since I was 14 years old, almost every day and sometimes more than one time a day, I also watch a lot of porn, I know I'm too old for that but I tried so many times to stop and I couldn't, Do you know if this will effect my marriage if I get married? should I seek a doctor help on this matter? I'm also trying to find if there is anything I can do or any medication I can take to even slow down this ? ?
A lot of people don't believe this, but pornography can hurt a marriage. It often does because watching it obsessively or not being able to stop watching it is a sexual addiction. I've seen this first hand with a couple of friends of mine who were addicted to pornography. One was married, the other was just dating. It affected both their relationships so that they couldn't fully commit/concentrate on their partner.

I think it's great that you want to handle this addiction. Many people don't believe that pornography or masturbation is an issue, but I have seen it destroy people, marriages and families. I honestly have seen it happen.

Get in touch with some sexual addiction groups. Or you can just seek a counselor who specializes in sexual addiction. You can do this by getting in touch with psychologists or community groups that hold self-help circles.

It takes willpower to stop masturbating. and viewing porn. Scientific studies in recent years have shown that you can increase your self-control and willpower by

1)Eating a Vegan plant based diet. That means eating a a lot of nutritious fruits, vegetables, and grains. When you eat dead animals that have a penis or vagina the temptation to masturbate can become too much to control.

Fat interferes with the process so keep fat intake around %10 of your calories.

5) Start an exercise program now! Exercise builds willpower.

6) You will still have sexual desires but when your body is clean through living healthy you can have enough willpower to control those desires.
