I have been on methadone for 2 years now after a 5 year heroin habit. I went to jail for traffic tickets & decided to quit cold turkey from 93 mg a day. I've been sick now for over 3 weeks. When will the pain stop?
It is doable but the withdrawal usally lasts 2-6 months,my husband did it and has been off of methadone for10yrs now.Personally i remained on the methadone and i have'nt used any other drugs.I find methadone keeps me clean and out of pain as i stuggle with hep-c and know i would use the minute i did'nt have my methadone. Hope you do well lol
