Hello, I'm new to this, but really hoping to get some advice as I'm very confused. I had a missed m/c when the baby was 7 weeks, but the d&c was at 14 weeks, it's now 10 weeks since my first D&C. I caught an infection after my first D&C and my uterus was full of blood clots, so I had to have another D&C a week after my first D&C, it's now 9 weeks after my 2nd D&C. Since my 2nd D&C I have had a normal period.
3 weeks ago (7 weeks after my 1st D&C) I went to see my Gyneocologist who said my hcg level was 15 and I have a cyst on my right ovary, he said I have to go on the pill for a 2 months before I can try to get pregnant again. I was suppose to get my period last week, I took a pregnancy test and it read positive, I took another digital pregnancy test and it also read positive.
Could I be pregnant, or could it be the hormones from the last pregnancy, or could going on the pill have increases my hcg levels. I'm seeing my doctor at the end of this week, but I'm so confused and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
Lastly, the digital pregnancy test said I am 3 weeks pregnant from date of conception and 5 weeks from first day of last period, these seem pretty accurate, but I have no pregnancy symtoms what so ever, I don't even feel pregnant. Really need some advice.
Thanks

Hi mezzy, I think that the HCG levels are hard to figure out right now because you did miscarry and I think it's hard to tell at this point where you lie but I think that it's possible that one of two things are happening: either you are pregnant again without any symptoms due to the hormones that would normally make you ill already being in the system or you have these levels due to your previous pregnancy. Either way, let us know what the doctor says okay?
Hi bluedog, thanks for your reply. I decided to try not to think about it as it was driving me crazy. Anyway, I went to the doctor today and it turns out that I'm 5weeks and 1 day pregnant. It so wierd, I got pregnant 2 months after my m/c whilst on the pill, so its very true that you are mosy fertile after a m/c or abortion. Anyway, I'm really pleased, the doctor was able to see a heart beat, but we couldn't hear it as yet.
As I have m/c before, I have to take magnesium 3 times a day until the end of the pregnancy and a I have to insert a postegren tablet into my vagina every night for 3 months......this Is on top of the folic acid, vitamin b12 and iodine!!!
A possible reason why I have no pregnancy symptoms is because I already had a health hcg level in my system from the m/c at the time of conception and implantation, but I will have to wait and see if I go without symtoms for the remainder of the pregnancy.
