I've been taking up diane 35 for almost 2 months. I usally take it between 7pm-9pm. So here's the thing, I had sex this morning (wed) and forgot to take my pill. I only realized it at midnight. So I took my pill at 12 midnight (so it's already thursday).
My question is, is there a chance that I would be pregnant? How does the time framework of the pill works? And if I will have unprotected sex today (thursday) what would be the chances of me being pregnant?
HI Confused,
Taking it 3 hours late is not a major concern. Take your next pill on time.
You didn't skip a pill really, you were just late with it.
Hope it helps.
Thanks medic dan!
Quick question, what if i took my pill late and had sex at the same day, let say 12mn of thursday I took my pill then had unprotected sex at 1pm? Is there a chance that I could pregnant?

Confused,
The idea of taking the pill at the same time is not only to help you remember when to take it but it keeps the hormone levels (from the pill) fairly steady.
Missing one day in itself isn't really a problem but you do need to take two pills the next time. If you miss more than that and things start getting "risky" and you need to use other protection.
Even with the pill there is a slight chance of pregnancy. The more consistent you are in taking it, and keeping those hormone levels up, the less likely the chances.
