My girlfriend just started taking birth control 2 weeks ago from last Sunday. She has been very good about taking the pill daily at 2:00 PM, and has never once missed taking her pill at that time, with one exception. Last Sunday, 2 weeks into taking the pill, she forgot to take it at 2, and did not remember until 3:30PM. She took her pill at 3:30 PM, and has continued to take it at 2:00 PM daily since. I am not too sure which kind of birth control pill she is on, but would she need to restart a new pack of pills?

No, she does not need to start a new pack, it was only missed by an hour and a half. You dont need to restart iunless it was 3 or 4 consecutive missed pills.
