Hello! I have been on bc pills for over 6 months now. I haven’t had any problems, or side effects until now. I missed two periods and I am very worried. How common is this? I was taking the pills every day at the same time, just like my gynecologist told me and I don’t think that I could have gotten pregnant. Can this be one of the pills side effects?
Hi! You know that the only way that you can know for sure that you8 are not pregnant is if you haven’t had sex. The pills are said to be 99% safe. It is, however, common to miss a period while being on pills but I am not so sure about two periods. Have you done an hpt? Do the test first to see if it is pregnancy or something else. You could miss your periods due to some hormonal or metabolic disorder as well.
