Its great to hear that there are people out there that overcame this issue. Gives us all hope. I'm going to give yoga a try or look up ways of reducing anxiety
Just to let you know I was the one writing before (Ali). Yes I can confirm it is anxiety. Anxiety is a vicious cycle because it causes symptoms of all kinds and in turn that makes your anxiety worse ! Other than all I have previously stated the main reason I can confirm that it truly is anxiety is how it all began. The reason this happened to me in the first place was due to me believing I had an STI and I was so anxious about it my testicles started reacting to it..... Thus, this could not be a nerve issue or a pelvic floor issue.
A nerve issue usually causes severe pain and is constant. Pelvic floor is often associated with bowel control, don't be fooled by this as anxiety causes digestive problems.
You must acknowledge and understand how anxiety works to understand this issue. Anxiety causes the nervous system and muscles to react, not to mention irrational thinking. These two factors combined make you believe you have something wrong. If that be the case why do none of us have it when we sleep or when truly relaxed? If you are able to somehow video or ask wife/partner to check when you are asleep, I can guarantee there will be no movement at all.
Bear in mind this issue can be applicable to most parts of the body with anxiety, unfortunately for us it is our most precious parts which makes us panic more! Think of the fact many people (including myself) get anxiety rash when very anxious! This is only explained by a reaction to anxiety and blood flow to the arwa from increased adrenalin.... which is what's happening to your testicles

Ali, I have been trying to believe it's a anxiety since the last time I spoke to you (6days ago) for . I had a horrible day because of my scrotum today I can't f*****g sit down without having this movement. I have been sitting all day and I have had movements at Radom times when sitting. Even when I was focused on something else it has still happened. It also is very bad right before I have to defecate when my scrotum is real tight. I can't take this anymore. Please respond. I don't think it can be anxiety it has to be something else..
It's Pete, I have been talking on this forum for months

I need help I can't take it anymore I just can't believe it's just anxiety. It's random when sitting. I don't feel it when standing
Pete, I also used to feel it most when j needed to go to the toilet as it's a similar feeling to the presure in your hips you get from this issue. I had times like you where even though I knew it was anxiety I couldn't get over it! But I digressed my mind to the fact I had anxiety and this was irrelevant....now I never ever think of this or notice anything (other than when I write these posts!) But honestly Pete, this is just your mind playing tricks. You have nothing physically wrong....
Thanks for getting back to me. I've been up all night. I think maybe I have ocd. I just can't get it out of my mind. I then think maybe it's the way I sit that puts pressure on the region. I don't get any hip pain I just get more movement right before I have to go to toilet and I notice I tighten up down there and then after my scrotum relaxes
That's a normal reaction! It's normal for them to move quite a bit...its just because you are paranoid about it you notice it so much which in turn causes it to happen more !
I don't know how to get it out of mind . I just don't. I don't have any hip pain or anything , all I have is just movement of scrotum and tingling when movement occurs only when sitting.
This is K. Since last time we spoke i told my self it was just anxiety and i relaxed and it went away for the rest of the day and i didnt have it when i woke up. I was so happy i thought it went away. So then driving to work nervous that it would come back i kept telling myself its enxiety and i got really bad enxiety when i got to work and the movement and tingling came back
Similar thing happened to me. Today it was bad just like yesterday I tried to get it out off my mind but it happends randomly. So sick of this sh*t always happening
K, do you really believe it's anxiety?
K. Talking about it with you guys helps. Knowing that Im not the only one out there. In the back of my mind i know that nothing is wrong and its just anxiety but that doesnt seem to help. Have to work on anxiety i guess
Are you guys positive its anxiety. Like 100 percent sure it's not a nerve issue? Sounds like nerve problems
Can anyone confirm its anxiety 100 percent, I have the same question
