Hello, I was given the results of my MRI which states ther is a mild diffuse bulgign of the disc at C6 -7. the disc indenting the thecal sac.

I'm in a lot of pain while sittign or standing. Is this a lifetime strain? How long will it take to heal. I slipped and fell on ice in January and I have only now been diagnosed. it it very painful to type this email and my job requires me to type and sit for long hours. Will this worsen my condition? how long should I stay from work?
