It took me years to get dx of ms. and It is because the symptoms come and go and because our immune systems are out of whack and we look like we are faking an illness. I started to believe that I am a hypochondriac. There is a new blood test for ms, but I don't think too many doctors know about it. They all thought that I am paling sick and that I just want extra attention.

Since January, I’ve been having these symptoms: numbness in tongue, cheek, back, my left arm hurts me, left leg too, I was getting memory loss, confusion, my eyes starting hurting, double vision and blurry vision. Not to mention mood swings and terrible sharp pains in my head. My GP sent me to a neurologist as he thought it was serious. My neuro examined me and said he that these symptoms were just related to stress. He thought I was having a migraine that lasted a couple months and he dismissed me. I do understand how you feel as I feel like a hypochondriac too, especially since the symptoms stopped in March, but have been creeping back again lately. I am pretty sure that is ms and I tend to see another neuro.
