Remember, what needs force to control is bound to fail.
She obviously wants the sex. I don't get you point about her just starting to figure out about sex. Isn't it great if her first experience is very good with someone she likes and is experienced?
Why is everyone so up in arms.

you mean you are relinquishing your parental job to the police? How absolutely silly is our modern sophisticated society. You want to call the police just because she is 14 and having a relationship with a 24 yr old guy? Crazy, knee jerk response.
If they are thriving, he is not abusing her or giving her drugs or alcohol, if she is happy, if he is a decent bloke, then what have you got to fear. Commend her for making good choices but teach her how to protect herself from STDs and pregnancy and make sure her grades in school dont drop. Warn the guy you will chop his balls off if he harms your daughter and just let them enjoy the relationship.
Your response is as immature or possibly more immature than your daughter's.
You need to relax and take it easy. There may be a reason she wants the relationship with the older guy. Ofcourse they will have sex. Thats where as a responsible parent, you need to prepare her and teach her how to protect herself from pregnancy and STDs.

The 11 yr old friend of yours could have lied about her age.
I was with a much older guy when I was turning 13 and it turned out fabulous. I had a very intense relationship with him and it involved a lot of sex. He was my first. Nothing bad happened and I wasnt harmed. In fact I feel it is the best thing that happened to me and I dont regret a thing.
Relationships are like that. Attraction works in strange ways. Some girls need older guys in their lives and a mature influence that helps them along. The patience and benevolence shown to me by my older bf was the best thing that has happened to me. Better than what my family could have ever given to me.
So dont always think that if the guy is older it must mean he is bad and a creep and a predator. There are more bad things happening in same age relationships. Just look at what happens in your own school and you will know who the creepy guys are. There is a lot more damage done in same age relationships. It is sad that no one acknowledges it.
