My daughter shakes her hands and legs,arms and mouth when watching tv. She is aware of it but says it doesnt bother her... before she would only stretch out her jaw in a nervous manner whenever she would sweep the floor. No biggy but now they look and feel like a seizure look alike motions. Is it because of too much tv.is it affecting her nervous system the tv?

It does sounds like some type of seizure disorder that is brought about by certain activity. The tv probably brings on a lot of it. She could also have some other type of neurological disorder or if she is taking prescription medication, it could be a side effect. Does she have any other unusual symptoms that you have noticed? How does she do in school, academically and socially? Is she having any problems that the teachers have informed you of? You should have her seen by a neurologist to rule out anything like a brain tumor, for instance. Hopefully, she will have something that can be easily treated by medication.
