I am going to get a tetanus shot and a few days I need to know what to do after about the pain

I had one two months ago as well, and it still hurts to pick up anything with that arm. I have heard that can happen if when they give the shot it hits the muscle. I am asking my doctor when I go for appt. today.

This is exactly what I am going through. Nurses offered me to do physical therapy. I start that in two weeks. I believe that it was administered incorrectly. She may have hit a nerve or muscle.

My head hurts so bad, nauseated. Shot yesterday.

Yes, although my arm didn't hurt much in first week there was some soreness/stiffness. However it has been almost 3 weeks now and the inside of my arm is still sore/uncomfortable when I try to stretch or straighten it.

I got a tetanus shot 1&1/2 years ago. My arm hurt so bad and would get numb and I could barely move it. I had to lift it with my other arm if I needed to do something. I couldn't sleep on that side at all. Still to this day it hurts but they keep telling me nothing's wrong cuz there was no rash or fever & I still have severe pain in my shoulder area right where the shot was given so I know that's the problem but they won't admit it. Average pain medicine like Tylenol or Advil does nothing for the pain. Help
