A home pregnancy test would definately be accurate by now. Anytime you have unprotected sex you could be pregnant...I assume you missed your cycle? If so you definately need to take a test
If it's been four weeks and you haven't had a period, It's very possible that you are pregnant. There are over the counter test kits at the pharmacy. I'd suggest you try one. If it's positive, you should see a doctor.

as others have said already, since it has been four weeks after the unprotected sex, you definitely should take the pregnancy test because it's definitely accurate by now. You haven't said did you have your period in the meantime. Depending on how regular your periods are, a missed period at this point would be a pretty good sign that might tell you if you might be pregnant.
Either way, you obviously need to take the pregnancy test, because your period might be irregular and you have skipped some periods before. Or you might be among those women who do get their periods even during early pregnancy. It happens sometimes, so that is why you need to test.
