My friend had an abortion over a week ago and she's been having sex since then she started having sex 2 days after abortion.... But her bf hasn't pulled out a few times and other times he does, she just go on the BC pill like 4 days ago... should she be concerned or what should she expect?

Birth control usually takes a week to become effective and within that week condoms, spermicide or the sponge should be used to prevent pregnancy from occurring. No, I would be less worried about the bleeding and more worried that she may get pregnant again having unprotected sex. The bleeding is a side effect of the abortion she had. Hope she realizes what a good friend she has!

The bleeding could last up to 6 weeks but it probably won't. She could take a pregnancy test in about 20 or so days, I would probably wait 30 just to be safe. Like I said, she probably isn't but that possibility always exists.
