Hello im 18 and have a red looking bump on my front tooth. its painful and looks like it could be an infection. Wondering weather or not to go to the dentist but i cant affort in. Anyone got any ideas. Really painful any idea.
Hello. When you say you have a red bump in your tooth, I assume you mean on the gum area above it? I work as a Dental Assistant and it sounds to me like you have an abcess wich may have resulted from some trauma to your tooth - did you get a knock to it recently? If this is the case then the nerve inside the tooth is dying and becoming infeccted so if I was you I would certainly go and see a Dentist so they can try to save the tooth by doing root canal treatment.
