My mother in law,has alziemers although not yet diagnosed and there lies the problem??. She is cared for by her husband who is now getting to stage that he cannot cope, but does not know where to turn, he has health issues of his own, mainly with his blood presure being through through the roof, and he has already ended up in hospital once.
He went to see the dr twice about this problem, the first time the dr said he would have to live with it,as it comes to us all. The second time he said that my father in law that there was nothing he could do as the father in law would have to make an apointment with his wifes dr, and bring her to see him, prob 1 - this is a group practice so how come he cannot deal with it, and 2nd the mother in law will not go to the dr and can be very aggresive about it, so what are my father in laws options, how can he get the help he needs before this stress kills him, and how do we get her diagnosed if she wont go and we cannot get the dr to her.
