I'm a 40 something year old female who smoked about 30 years of my life and have been quit for 2 days now.  I've been reading all the smoking/quit smoking related posts on here ever since I found this site about 4-5 years ago.  I know what to expect and I'm ready to experience all of it.  I'm planning on posting on this thread every day or every other day to let everyone know how I'm doing and also others please feel free to jump in if you have quit or are trying to quit.

I read Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Smoking Friday night into yesterday but had quit smoking Friday, 5/24 at 1:24 pm and haven't had a cigarette since.  Right now I've been fasting since 1:30 pm today and will fast through about the same time tomorrow.  I'll be heading to the gym tomorrow as well to try and stave off any weight gain.

My first question for others who may want to join in is how many times in your entire smoking history have you tried to quit smoking?  For me, at least 100+.

Namaste.

Started the StrongLifts program today at the gym.  I like the ease of the program so I don't have to spend 2-3 hours at the gym every day.  I went ahead and did 20 minutes of LISS Walking on the Treadmill as well and listened to Allen Carr while doing such.  I started listening to the book again last night.  Why not?  Nothing wrong with a little reinforcement.

Today will mark day 3 being smoke free and I feel great!  Workout went great!  Listening to Allen Carr is the way to go!
