Hi i wonder if you could advise me about a problem i have with my Right Testicle. It sits about 2 inchs higher than the left and when i get aroused it rises up further and it gets a bit sensative. i have had this problem for the last 6 months any suggestions?
I have a similar problem. Just noticed it recently and am concerned. I have visited the hospital and urologist not long ago and both have checked it but I forgot to ask them about my rising right testicle. It doesn't always hurt when it rises but I noticed that my bag seems tighter almost like I'm always cold.. and my right testicle seems to rise up pretty much beside my penis when aroused.. I don't know what to do with this, looks like I am going to have to go and get that checked out.. When I do I'll get back to you.

It's not unusual for testicles to hang at two different levels.
After all, nothing in life is exactly even... two feet, two breasts, to earlobes, etc.

When the testicle is cold, or threatened, or genitals are aroused, the testicle pulls up toward the body cavity to protect it. This is an automatic reflex called the cremaster reflex... but can be triggered manually by a slight scratch or tickle to the inner thigh.

If you already have a testicle that hangs higher than the other, when triggered, this reflex will bring it up higher than the other as well.

There's nothing wrong with this, provided the testicle decends again on its own after a short period of time. To stay too close to the body may make the testicle too warm, and risk sperm production.

If you are still concerned over the extreme height of one testicle, you'll need to schedule an appointment with your general practice doctor. A urologist may be called in, but insurance will want to review the referral first.

DON'T Forget to tell him why you want the exam.
You can write it down to make sure he gets the message, if you're shy or unsure you'll remember during your next doctor's visit.

Good luck!
