My grandpa had this when he was younger and he died man
Dude you're totally fine, there's no need to worry. If you can push your testicle back into your scrotum and it stays there, there's no need to go see a doctor. Before we're born, our testicles start out inside our abdomen, in a pocket called the inguinal canal. Shortly before birth, they descend into the scrotum, but sometimes they don't and a doctor has to get them to descend. Other times they descend, but the passageway between the canal and the scrotum, instead of being sealed off completely, remains open partially or completely, as seems to be the case with you. It's perfectly normal for your balls to get pushed back into the inguinal canal every now and then. When I was younger I used to push my penis inward and push my testicles up there to make it look like I had no genitals. Of course everything pops back when you let go.
This seems to only happen when you're lying down, and that's normal. Maybe your leg or hand pushed your testicle up into your inguinal canal while you were sleeping, man. Or maybe it was just gravity. So I have a few questions for you: Do your testicles stay in your sac most of the time, or are they always going up there on their own? Are you in any pain down there at any time? Does it hurt at all when you pee or when you ejaculate? Does your testicle go up into your abdomen while you're ejaculating? If the answer to any of those is yes, you need to see a doctor. Otherwise, don't stress, man. You should be thankful, cuz that's pretty cool. It's not everybody that has a safe place for their balls when someone tries to hit them :)
