My girl friend is on Aviane (birth control). She has just started her pills 2.75 weeks ago. She did not finish the first 3 weeks before having sex. She has three pills left before her 4th week of sugar pills. We had sex tonight, and ther ewas a mishap. The problem is that the condom we were using slipped off inside of her, and we had no idea till an hour later when we were done. We are worried about the effectiveness of Aviane, if the first 3 weeks arnt fully taken. Because shetechnically has three pills left, sat sun and monday.. any helpful hints?
Some say it only takes a week or so for women to be protected when starting bc, i am from the old school and would go with a month. If there were only 3 active pills left, i would say probably not pregnant. Your gf should see her period in a day or 2.
