Hi, I have been taking Kadian for little more then 2 months. Previously I have used painkillers for over 4 years. Until now, Kadian has worked the best. I heard from my neighbor that her doctor prescribed only 30 mg for pain that she feels. Is it a small dose or not? Thank you.
Kadian is a slow-release morphine that can be taken once or twice a day intended for treatment of moderate to severe chronic pain. The doctor will set the appropriate dosage schedule and amount to meet your individual needs. It can begin with only 20 mg. One thing is very important, do not make changes in dose on your own; always consult your doctor.
