I'm 28 years old and I need some advice. Last week when getting dressed I accidently caught my nipple on my bra felt like a friction burn type thing. The next day it felt as though the nipple was being 'pinched'. Theres no signs of anything abnormal no dimpling discharge or anything like that. But I have this constant sensitivity like the sort of discomfort you get with sensitive teeth, throbbing and kind of 'tickly'. My breast is fine no lumps etc but it feels heavy and aches.
What is this and how do i get rid of it. It can't be an 'illness' because i know what caused it.getting a bit paranoid please help :(

Apply cool compresses to ease the discomfort and give the nipple time to heal. The nipples are full of nerve endings and are very sensitive and easily irritated. It may take up to a month to heal. Good luck.

Just as your breasts can be tender at different times of your monthly cycle, so can your nipples change in their sensitivity. Did this problem go away eventually? If not, do your nipples tend to be very erect at these times too?  Does it get better and worse with your monthly cycle? It's likely normal but can be uncomfortable and embarrassing if your nipples are also almost permanently erect for days. Some women wear padded bras but then this can make them event more sore! There are creams (some of which are organic / homeopathic remedies) that you can rub into your nipples several times a day that will decrease sensitivity for most women. I can suggest a few if this problem continues for you.

My nipples hurt constantly. My breasts feel sensitive, and hurt even when I wear a good bra. I can't see or feel any lumps. Even when sleeping I wake up with sensitivity in my nipples. What to do?
