My bf and I have been ttc for about 7 months now. I always have extremely sore breasts right after ovulation. This month it's a week past and still no soreness. Could this mean I didn't ovulate? I did have the regular temp dip and lots of EWCM.... I'm also crampy had slight spotting when I wiped yesterday two times... and lots of very wet creamy CM. I'm usually very dry till after AF....

Hi! When we are actively trying to become pregnant and wathcing our temperature etc, we become extremely intuned to our bodies! The only way you didn't ovulate is if your periods have stopped! Or you are taking a pill to stop them! Sometimes = depending on the side that I ovulated from - I would have NO pain and the next month I would have BAD pain! Actually the side I used to have pain from, is the side I conceived on twice! So just know that even though you are totally intune to your body, just because you didn't feel that you ovulated this month, is DEFINITELY NOT a sign that you didn't ovulate! You had the spotting, cramping and a discharge! So you definitely did ovulate!

Even though the chances of conceiving are higher when you ovulate, just know that you can get pregnant at any time! I think there is SO much pressure on women to follow their temperatures etc., that we miss the opportunities! So not to miss any opportunity, I would suggest you and your bf having sex everyday and using pillows under your buttocks to help out mother nature! There is also some research into women taking Folic Acid before getting pregnant, can actually help with conceiving. Some research shows it can increase your odds siginificantly!

Have you been checked out by your doctor? Since you are ovulating I don't think you need medical help at this point. Because there is Clomid and Metformin helping with ovulating! So just know that IF you do not conceive after another 2 months. I would go and get checked out - just to make sure there isn't anything going on! And also know that healthy couples can take upto 1 year to get pregnant. So don't give up hope OK? Good luck and health AND fertility honey!

That is the most ignorant thing I have heard of. How can you get pregnant if you didn't ovulate?? Do anyone ever explain the birds and the bees to you? Did you fall asleep during sex education class? If you don't ovulate, there's no egg. If there's no egg, there's NO way you can get pregnant!!

I think you are ignorant!! Every womans body is different and some women may or may not ovulate with their period. And she was asking if its normal for your breast not to hurt during ovulation when they normally do dumbass. Learn to read the question or just mind your own business if you have nothing to say to help her situation. WHAT AN id**t!!!!

Actually the previous poster is correct. Ovulation is *required* to get pregnant. Without ovulation there is no egg to be fertilized. Bambi is also wrong, in that one can have a period without ovulating. See "anovulation cycle".

Actually a women can still have a period weither she ovulates or not. I have lean/thin PCOS and I don't always ovulated but I have pretty regular cycles every month and have only ever missed one period for one full cycle. I have cd21 program done oftern quite a lot of the time I haven't ovulated but I still get my period on time.
